Meet the Author
Raven J. Hannah is a passionate advocate for children’s education and well-being, blending nearly two decades of experience in early childhood education with her love of storytelling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds through creative learning opportunities.
As the owner of Creative Learning Childcare and Preschool, one of the highest-rated home childcare programs in Iowa, Raven has spent 14 years fostering a safe, supportive and stimulating environment for children. Her expertise and commitment to quality care earned her a seat on the Governor of Iowa’s Childcare Task Force, where she worked to shape policies that benefit families and childcare providers across the state.
Raven’s books reflect her deep understanding of children’s needs, tackling important topics with warmth, humor and creativity. Whether addressing anxiety, fostering empathy, or helping kids defeat the pesky booger pirates and stop germs in their tracks, her stories aim to empower children and their grown-ups and inspire meaningful conversations.
When she’s not writing or running her childcare, Raven enjoys homeschooling her two children, overspending at bookstores and gardening.
